Miracles in the Mayhem

Balancing Life, Work, and Motherhood: A Poetic Reflection.  At Serenova, we know resilience is everything, especially when you’re trying to juggle work and life. As a mom, a professional, and someone who’s always figuring out how to make it all work, this poem really speaks to my own journey. It’s about dealing with setbacks, finding little moments of joy when you least expect them, and how stepping into new roles can change you in ways you never imagined. I hope it connects with anyone who’s felt the pressure of life’s demands and found strength in the process.

I dreamed of you for years and years,
Through quiet hopes and hidden tears.
I didn’t know just when or how,
But I always knew—someday, somehow.

And then one day, there you were,
Wrapped in blankets, soft and pure.
Tiny fingers, perfect face—
I held you close. My heart found its place.

The joy was real, the love ran deep,
But life’s not always kind or sweet.
Some nights, I rocked you half-asleep,
Then worked while you breathed so deep.

I lost my job, the bills piled high,
And there were nights I’d sit and cry.
But giving up? Not in my blood—
I’d walk through fire, I’d crawl through mud.

So I hit restart, went back to school,
Juggled life, broke every rule.
Late-night books, a tired mind,
But you’re the reason I won’t fall behind.

Through every fall, through every climb,
Through sleepless nights and borrowed time,
No storm is strong enough to break—
The bond we share, the love we make.

Reflection and Call to Action

As we go through our own journeys, it’s so important to remember that strength really does come from within. Life throws us all kinds of curveballs—whether it’s motherhood, work, or just trying to figure it all out. It can feel impossible at times, right? But somehow, in the middle of those tough moments, we find a kind of strength we didn’t know we had. The trick isn’t avoiding the hard parts; it’s learning to work with them, see them as opportunities, and keep pushing through.

For me, balancing my dreams, my work, and being a mom is a constant juggle. There have been nights when sleep seemed like a distant memory, times when I was so overwhelmed that I questioned everything. But then I look at my son, and I remember why I keep going. The love I have for him and the future I want to create for us both are my driving force. It’s not always pretty or easy, but every little step forward, no matter how small, gets me closer to the life I’m working so hard for.
When things get tough, I’ve learned it’s okay to take a break, ask for help, and just breathe for a minute. Finding strength isn’t just about pushing through. It’s about knowing when to rest, recharge, and take care of yourself too. And, trust me, that’s just as important.

So, how do you balance everything in your life? What keeps you going when things feel like they’re falling apart? Is it your family, your dreams, or a little bit of both? We all have something that drives us forward, even when it feels hard. And sometimes, just remembering that strength is inside us can make all the difference.

Balancing life can be challenging, for me my faith in
In God keeps me going. I try to focus on what's truly important to me which is my family, health, and personal growth.
